Cosmic Vishnu - Colossus Mountain

This two young guys bring to you ladys and gentlemans of the doomish planet, some heavy travelling songs, mainly the massive "Iron Ships on the Silver Sea" that takes you to viking lands, and brutal axes. The other two songs feel like a more stoner thing, with that fuzz distorion ringing in your hears on a way that gonna make you headbang.

Red Sparowes - Aphorisms

Fans of Red Sparowes that have yet to hear this record may be feeling a little anxious do to how radical I've kind of implied it sounds. To be honest this simply isn't as vastly different from their other material as I imply. The lengthy song titles are here with the opener being label as "We Left the Apes to Rot, But Find the Fang Grows Within" and the basic structure of the songs are the same as before. Said opener is a trip between a mathy introduction that forms its way into one of the band's most gorgeous sections through a transition of white noise. "Aphorisms" comes off as a record where the band is using the same pieces as always just sort of mixing up how those pieces are arranged.

Electric Wizard - Live at BBC (Maida Vale Studios)

The thickness of its sound, it can really make you shit your pants, in a way or the other. Performing directly for you this fellas, dont play on heavy work and they hit you like a thor's hammer making you go nuts. This isn't just another ordinary BBC session, this is probably the most heavy band to have crossed the BBC sessions pad.
