Quick news!

Well, its been a while since the last time. Some ground breaking news, bad and good, have solaced the past couple of weeks, and for those who haven't heard or have been disconnected here it goes:



For total misfortune of british stoner/doom fans we see the top drawer Cathedral disbanding this same year, in spite of ending the 2011 current tour the band will release one more studio album and end unambiguously, as stated by legendary front man Lee Dorrian: "It's simply time for us to bow out. Twenty one years is a very long time and it's almost a miracle that we managed to come this far!"

In some other dreadful news, the new Graveyard album entitled: "Hisingen Blues", is about to be released next March 25. The title track is now availabe at the bands myspace page, and it sounds killer (the full cover hasn't been revealed yet)!

Now at the U.S. Danava, Earthless and Lecherous Gaze will be releasing a fresh three way-split through Kemado records, with breaking new original songs by all bands. You can hear them here:

And finally last but not least, Tee Pee's 10th anniversary SXSW showcase bands were announced. This year's lineup will feature: Iron Age, Sweet Apple, Night Horse, Weird Owl, Lecherous Gaze and The Main Street Gospel! It'll be one of the most chill corners in town!
