Mastodon, back on track!

Well shit! Mastodon are back punching hard on what looks like a travell to the ancient greasy hefty & ponderous times from the Atlanta underground shows in the era. Take a listen to this:

    Just to clarify, this track "Deathbound" is not from the new album, The Hunter.

    It is an unreleased track from Crack the Skye.

    Adult Swim also made a video for it if you feel like posting that.

    I know. Its an outtake from "Crack the Skye", as you may have noticed I do not mention it would be featured on "The Hunter". Its just a tip on how they got a brand new song as they used to sound back in the days.

    As for the Adult Swim video I did not posted it 'cause it had those particular cartoon sounds from the animation, and I wanted to post the song entirely on its own. (here's the link for the animated video: http://youtu.be/Xr9_e4ySRYA)

    Mhm. Interestingly, Brann Dailor said the new album will be much more stripped down and "Leviathan"-y, so we could be in store for more material in the same vein as "Deathbound."
